My name is Melissa Hays. I was born and raised in Florence, Alabama, where I live today. My husband, Dennis, and I have been married for 23 years. We have two beautiful daughters and four wonderful grandchildren. I currently work at Southwire in purchasing, and I plan to obtain the Purchasing Manager position by the end of the year. I am in the second semester of the Master of Education Program. I also work as a substitute with the Lauderdale County Early Learning Center, do floral arrangements, and I am the administrator for my church. I feel the knowledge I obtain in this course will help me in all the positions I hold. When I am not working or doing homework, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially the grandbabies.
